Work with this multi-award-winning singer/songwriter as she reveals the magic behind catchy hooks, harmonies and memorable lyrical journeys.
Sue will work with you in a small group setting, focussing on:
- The basics of songwriting
- How to co-write with others and how to navigate the whole experience
- Do It Yourself "Marketing tips"
- Do It Yourself "Networking Tips"
With comparisons to Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Patsy Cline and Brandi Carlile, Sue’s sound is an eclectic mix of old school classic country steeped with a southern blues vibe and yet creates her own unique, easily recognisable alternative country sound. Her high energy and passionate live shows are her draw card, wowing audiences worldwide with a big sound, catchy hooks, lots of harmonies and her ability to draw the crowd into the performance, bringing them along for a memorable journey they are sure to remember.
In the past five years, Sue has had accrued awards and nominations, from “Most Promising New Talent” in the 2013 Deadly awards to “Female Artist Of The Year” in the QLD Music Awards that same year.
In 2012, “Red Roses” was nominated for “Country Album Of The Year” in the AIR Independent Music Awards, and later that year received a QMusic award for “Best Indigenous Track”. Most recently, in 2018 Sue won the World/Folk category in the QMusic awards for her track “Junior Was His Name”."
